Function is on a mission to help people live 100 healthy years—and we’re looking for a strategic, experienced Accounts Payable Lead to help build and scale our finance operations from the ground up. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Oversee coding, approvals, and timely processing of invoices and expenses
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain AP aging reports and process ACH, wires, and check payments
• Assist with monthly close, accruals, journal entries, and 1099 filings
• Collaborate across finance, procurement, and operations teams
• Respond to employee/vendor inquiries and support audits
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 7+ years in Accounts Payable, preferably end-to-end ownership
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency setups
• Experience with ERP and payables systems (e.g., NetSuite, Bill.com, Workday)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent time management, discretion, and communication skills
• Bonus: experience in healthcare or SaaS
