Pie Insurance is reshaping small business insurance to be simple, affordable, and—yes—as easy as pie. As a Claims Adjuster, Subrogation, you’ll lead the charge (literally) in reclaiming costs from third parties. You’ll manage a caseload of subrogation claims, conduct investigations, and drive negotiations to maximize recoveries—all while collaborating cross-functionally and staying laser-focused on compliance and claim outcomes.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Conduct detailed investigations to uncover new subrogation opportunities and maximize recoveries
• Evaluate liability, determine recovery potential, and craft strategic subrogation action plans
• Negotiate recoveries on workers’ compensation and commercial auto claims with carriers, attorneys, and third parties
• Communicate proactively with internal adjusters, insureds, claimants, and legal reps to drive resolution
• Issue subrogation notices and maintain accurate documentation throughout the claim lifecycle
• Support chargeback recovery efforts and special projects as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2–4 years of experience in subrogation for Workers’ Compensation or Commercial Auto
• Strong knowledge of insurance claim procedures and liability evaluation
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation chops and critical thinking
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
