Join Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, as a Customer Service Representative, where you’ll help connect people with the care and services they need—all from the comfort of your home. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity that combines healthcare, purpose, and flexibility.
✅ Position Highlights
• $16.00 – $27.69/hour (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 AM–7 PM EST
• 100% remote across the U.S.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle high-volume inbound calls from patients or their representatives
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments
• Coordinate with care providers to assist patients as needed
• Accurately document and update systems with call information
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Deliver compassionate, solutions-focused customer service
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School Diploma or GED
• 18+ years old
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare customer service, medical office, or related setting
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Availability for any 8-hour shift within 7 AM–7 PM EST, Monday–Friday
