HKA Enterprises is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support Business Markets regulated Energy Efficiency (EE) programs. Based in Charlotte, NC—with partial remote flexibility—this role will engage directly with customers and contractors to promote energy-saving services, process applications, and drive lead generation. • Hybrid remote (must be located in North or South Carolina; occasional in-office meetings)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to energy efficiency programs
• Assist with application processing and follow-ups
• Support marketing campaigns and lead tracking
• Maintain accurate project data and customer information
• Provide subject matter expertise on all EE program offerings
• Conduct root cause investigations and analyze customer feedback
• Support additional programs like Electrification Transportation as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5–7 years of customer service experience
• Strong phone communication and data entry skills
• Located in the Carolinas (Charlotte preferred)
• Associate’s Degree (preferred)
• Utility industry background is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP and CRM tools
💻 Remote Requirements
• Must reside in NC or SC
• Willingness to attend occasional on-site meetings in Charlotte
