CrewBloom is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Biller to support a healthcare client’s revenue cycle. In this role, you’ll handle medical claims, patient invoicing, insurance verification, and denial resolution. Your work helps ensure that providers get paid, patients stay informed, and compliance stays intact.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Submit claims to insurance providers, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Generate and follow up on patient invoices and outstanding balances
• Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and pre-authorizations
• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and address discrepancies
• Investigate and appeal denied or rejected claims
• Communicate billing details and financial options to patients
• Maintain detailed billing records and documentation
• Ensure full HIPAA and billing compliance
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma required; billing/coding certification preferred
• 1+ year experience in medical billing (healthcare setting preferred)
• Familiar with billing platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance claims processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Proven problem-solver with a process-improvement mindset
• Able to collaborate across teams to resolve billing issues
