CareCentrix is hiring Patient Billing Representatives to support patients, providers, and health plans by resolving billing inquiries and educating patients on their responsibilities. This full-time remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, customer-facing environment and enjoys making a difference in the healthcare space.

• $17.50/hour + Monthly Incentive Bonus

• 100% Remote (U.S.-based only)
• Paid Training: 4–6 weeks (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST)
• Shift After Training: Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM EST

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle 30–35 inbound billing-related calls per day
• Investigate payment statuses and determine patient out-of-pocket responsibility
• Answer questions related to explanations of benefits, balances, payments, and insurance coverage
• Offer payment plan options and financial resources when needed
• Escalate complex concerns appropriately
• Document interactions accurately while adhering to HIPAA/PHI standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year call center customer service experience
• 1+ year experience in healthcare or medical billing preferred
• Strong multitasking skills: dual monitors, multiple software tools
• 30+ WPM typing with active listening/data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation
