Your main goal: keep the appointment book full and flowing, ensure treatment plans are completed, and help the dental office hit its daily production targets. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Manage and optimize the dental hygiene schedule
• Contact patients to schedule and confirm hygiene and treatment appointments
• Follow up to ensure treatment plans are completed
• Explain treatment costs and insurance coverage in advance
• Coordinate with insurance providers for eligibility and benefits
• Reactivate patients who haven’t completed care
• Document all patient interactions accurately
• Handle incoming patient inquiries and adapt to last-minute changes
• Collaborate with the back office on lab cases and scheduling
• Support patients with any necessary pre-medication steps
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• At least 1 year of experience in dental scheduling, patient coordination, or dentistry
• Familiar with dental procedures and terminology
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software (preferred)
• Excellent phone presence and communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-first environment
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong follow-through
• Ethical, responsible, and able to handle sensitive patient information
