Alpaca is hiring a Technical Consultant to support our global fintech partners as they integrate our award-winning API for Stocks, ETFs, Options, Crypto, and more. In this remote-first role, you’ll act as a hands-on technical advisor—guiding product integrations from idea to implementation, troubleshooting roadblocks, and championing the customer voice across Product, Engineering, and Sales. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Act as the technical bridge for enterprise customers during onboarding and product rollouts
• Drive product discovery, MVP planning, and live demos with partners
• Lead solutioning for new feature requests, technical blockers, and integrations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize bugs, feedback, and roadmap alignment
• Join partner meetings, answer async questions, and build scalable resources
• Maintain subject matter expertise on Alpaca’s API, documentation, and internal tools
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Strong experience in enterprise project delivery or technical consulting
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Solid grasp of APIs (REST, WebSockets, SSE), Postman, curl, and issue tracking (JIRA)
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS (Postgres preferred) and data visualization tools (Metabase a plus)
• Experience with enterprise onboarding platforms and integration workflows
• Familiarity with fintech, broker-dealer models, or financial markets
• Ability to work independently across global teams and time zones
