Alpaca is seeking a highly skilled Trading Execution Specialist to support our enterprise clients in Japan and the broader APAC region. This full-time role requires strong experience in brokerage operations, a proactive support mindset, and fluency in both Japanese and English. You’ll serve as the bridge between Alpaca’s trading infrastructure and institutional clients, resolving order execution issues, maintaining FIX sessions, and ensuring seamless market access.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Provide direct, high-quality trading support to institutional clients via chat, email, and phone
• Investigate and resolve issues related to order entry, execution, FIX protocol, and OMS
• Monitor client trading activity and proactively resolve anomalies
• Support corporate actions (dividends, stock splits, mergers)
• Collaborate with operations, product, IT, and compliance teams to improve tools and service
• Maintain full regulatory compliance across all trading support
• Gather and relay client feedback to enhance Alpaca’s trading platform
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2–3 years of experience in brokerage ops, trading desks, or clearing
• Deep understanding of equities trading and trading systems (FIX familiarity required)
• Proven customer support and client relationship management experience
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (verbal and written)
• JSDA Class 1 Sales Representative license (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable managing risk, resolving urgent issues, and interacting with compliance

• Based in Tokyo, Japan
