🏛 About the Role
Maximus is hiring a Call Center Team Leader for a limited-service role supporting Open Enrollment. You’ll provide real-time coaching to call center agents, handle escalations, assist during peak call times, and ensure high-quality service across the board.
This is a temporary, remote position beginning in September, exclusive to New Jersey residents. Applicants must provide their own tech equipment and meet all hardware/internet requirements.

- 💻 Personal desktop or laptop (Windows 10, macOS 10.14+, or Linux Ubuntu 18.04+ only)
- 💾 Minimum: 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage | Preferred: 8GB RAM / 128–256GB SSD
- 🌐 Hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi, no hotspots, no public networks)
- Download: 20 Mbps min
- Upload: 5 Mbps min
- 🎧 Wired USB headset with microphone (no Bluetooth/Airpods)
- 📸 Screenshots from Google Speed Test and Speedtest.net required
- ⚠️ Devices like iPads and Chromebooks are not supported
📝 What You’ll Do
- 📞 Support and train call center agents during Open Enrollment
- 🚨 Handle call escalations and provide nesting support for new hires
- 📊 Monitor call volume and back-office production
- 🔍 Maintain updated knowledge of call center policies and performance standards
- 🤝 Collaborate with supervisors to improve service delivery
- 📁 Track and document all interactions and escalate critical issues as needed
🎓 What You Bring
✔️ High school diploma or GED required
✔️ 6+ years of relevant experience
✔️ 3+ years in a call center preferred
✔️ Must live in New Jersey
✔️ Experience with NJ SBE Project a plus (for internal staff)
