About the Role
Gameplay Galaxy is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user interfaces for cutting-edge mobile gaming experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and artists to shape the user journey across multiple platforms, with a focus on usability, consistency, and player enjoyment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, game designers, and developers to define UI/UX direction
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Design intuitive, polished, and responsive UI for mobile games
- Develop UI animations that enhance the gameplay experience
- Conduct user research and usability testing to guide iterative design
- Maintain visual consistency and alignment with brand/game identity
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the team
- Stay up to date with platform guidelines, trends, and emerging tools
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer in gaming or interactive media
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, visual polish, and interaction flow
- Proficiency with Figma; familiarity with Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Principle
- Unity experience: understanding UI implementation and mobile constraints
- Deep knowledge of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design best practices
- Strong communication skills; collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams
- Experience conducting user research and incorporating feedback
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delightful player-first experiences
- Excellent English communication skills in a remote team environment
- Interest in AI-driven tools or workflows in the creative pipeline
