👥 About the Role

You’ll be a key player on our Success Engineering team, working with customers to understand their use cases, address their technical challenges, and translate those insights into actionable improvements. This is not a sales role—it’s 100% focused on helping users succeed.

🧩 What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate communication plans with enterprise customers (touchpoints, trainings, ad-hoc meetings).
  • Attend meetings to track technical issues, use cases, and follow-ups.
  • Document meeting notes, summarize action items, and communicate with both internal teams and customers.
  • Share user feedback with Product and Engineering to help improve Metabase.
  • Maintain CRM and internal tools with accurate technical insights.
  • Help shape how customers use our platform and get value from their data.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Foundational technical knowledge, such as:
    • SQL and database principles
    • Data warehousing strategies
    • Web application architecture
    • Data visualization best practices
  • Experience with data tools (bonus if you’ve used Metabase!)

🎁 Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Metabase or other BI platforms
  • Prior exposure to open-source communities
  • Fluency in multiple languages
