🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
- đź“‹ Verify and document patient insurance eligibility and coverage for all infusion and medical services
- đź“ť Submit prior authorizations and obtain pre-certifications across a wide range of payers
- đź“ž Facilitate insurance denial mitigation including peer-to-peer reviews and appeals
- đź’ˇ Maintain deep knowledge of drug authorization protocols, J-codes, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and compliance standards
- đź’¬ Calculate and communicate patient financial responsibility before services
- 🤝 Support patients with financial assistance programs and manufacturer copay enrollment
🧠You’ll Thrive If You…
- ✅ Have 2–3 years of experience in insurance verification and authorizations, preferably in infusion services
- 🧾 Understand plan types, approval processes, and payer-specific workflows
- 🧪 Are familiar with J-codes, CPT, ICD-10, and medical documentation review
- ⚙️ Bonus: You’ve worked with Athena (not required)
- 🧠Possess strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with precision

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent follow-through
- Ability to operate independently in a remote work environment
- Knowledge of clinical language and insurance processes
