B12 is hiring a freelance SEO Content Editor/Writer to help publish a high volume of blog content aimed at professional service providers—think accountants, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, and more. Your job is to take already-drafted articles and shape them into SEO-optimized, high-quality posts that resonate with readers and rank with search engines.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Edit and refine blog articles to improve clarity, tone, and relevance
• Format content inside a CMS to align with SEO and readability best practices
• Ensure proper use of H1/H2/H3 tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, and keyword placement
• Publish final pieces that meet both editorial and SEO standards
• Contribute to scalable, high-impact content systems
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Strong editorial instincts and fast, accurate editing ability
• Experience working with SEO tools like Surfer SEO, Grammarly, or plagiarism checkers
• Familiarity with content management systems (preferably Netlify CMS)
• Portfolio of blog posts or web copy optimized for both readers and search engines
• Fluent in English with excellent grammar and structure
• Degree in English, Communications, or Journalism—or equivalent experience
