๐ผ The Role: Team Lead, Customer Support
Weโre looking for a hands-on leader to join our Customer Success team. Youโll manage five support reps, lead escalations, monitor SLAs, and spend up to 50% of your time in the trenches solving tickets. Itโs the perfect role for someone who blends strategy, empathy, and execution.
๐ง What Youโll Do
- ๐ฅ Manage and coach a team of 5 Support Representatives
- ๐งฉ Resolve customer escalations with speed, care, and clarity
- ๐ฌ Stay active in the Zendesk ticket queue (50% of time)
- ๐ Monitor performance and ensure SLAs/KPIs are met
- ๐ค Partner with VP of Customer Success to spot trends and drive support strategy
- ๐ง Train and onboard new team members to ensure consistency
- ๐ Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops to advocate for customer needs
โ What Weโre Looking For
- ๐ผ 3+ years in Customer Support/SaaS; 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role
- ๐ ๏ธ Zendesk (or equivalent) power user
- ๐ง Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- โ Hands-on leadership styleโyou lead by doing
- ๐ Startup or high-growth experience a plus
- ๐งฉ Technical chops to explain complex issues in simple terms
