Essential Functions:

  • Willdevelop a deep understanding of Access Point’s products and operations
  • Serve as a liaison between operations and data analytics and reporting.
  • Research key business problems and proactively identify opportunities for cost and utilization improvements
  • Communicate and present data-driven insights and recommendations to key business stakeholders, soliciting and incorporating feedback when required
  • Use and develop reports using visualization tools (e.g.Excel and PowerBI) to contextualize information in a manner suitable for executive audiences
  • Work with internal teams and other team members to understand and define reporting requirements
  • Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and reporting best practices
  • Research new reporting methods, processes, and tools
  • Must understand business requirements and data base technology

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • A strong understanding of and experience with relational databases particularly Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with visualization and analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 5 Years of experience in Data Analysis or Data Science
  • Previous call center and/or health care experience preferred
  • Power BI experience preferred
