In this role, you’ll coordinate resources, track progress, and deliver responsive communication to ensure every student and family feels supported.

Schedule

  • 100% remote (U.S.-based, any time zone)
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (ET, CT, MT, or PT)
  • Year-round schedule

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to enrollment, academic records, and student support
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and monitor communication channels
  • Provide professional, empathetic support to families and students via email and live chat
  • Update academic calendars, newsletters, and resources in coordination with school staff
  • Serve as advisor for a small group of students, providing check-ins and academic coaching
  • Support projects such as surveys, audits, internal documentation, and family communication
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and foster a responsive, student-centered culture

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Empathy, patience, and student-first mindset
  • Comfort with cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, ticketing systems)

Preferred

  • Experience in education or school settings
  • Background in student advising or teen-facing roles
  • Experience with scheduling/calendar management and CRM/ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk)
  • Familiarity with state funding processes for homeschooling or private schooling
