NFG is currently seeking to add an experienced Annuities Sales Specialist to our growing team. This position will be responsible for strengthening and growing relationships with existing and potential agents and advisors through methods like e-marketing, warm calls and networking. This position will be located remotely (work from home).
What you will do:
- Sales & Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with agents and clients via phone and email.
- Make and receive phone calls to agents regarding annuity cases and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service, displaying a positive attitude, understanding, patience, and quick service.
- Educate agents on annuities and when they may be the right solution.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of current products, features, availability, rates, and other requirements.
- Ability to maintain and exceed sales goals and motivate agents to sell annuities.
- Technological and Computer Skills: Demonstrate excellent technological and computer skills, including:
- Use of computers for tasks such as typing, email, research, and troubleshooting.
- Use of Microsoft Excel: Building spreadsheets and files to compare and analyze data.
- Carrier Familiarity: Develop a deep understanding of each carrier, including:
- Their product offerings
- Navigating through websites.
- General understanding of new business processes and suitability guidelines, including exceptions and correction requirements.
- Marketing Creation: Create effective marketing materials to facilitate annuity sales and attract attention, utilizing Microsoft Office Tools and MailChimp.
What you will have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: Insurance industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must hold or be willing to obtain a Life Insurance license.
- Phone-sales experience along with a sales-minded aptitude.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Webinar presentation experience a plus
