Title: Associate Account Executive, Admissions
Location: Remote
Flatiron School is seeking an Associate Account Executive to join our admissions team. As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll contact prospective students, understand their career and life goals, and help them navigate the courses and careers that Flatiron School has to offer. You’ll be the front line of the school, and a true expert in Flatiron School’s products and course offerings.
Here at Flatiron School, we craft our programs with care and look for students who are ready to pursue a rigorous, career-changing experience. You will be responsible for speaking with prospective students, communicating the value of a Flatiron School experience, and ensuring that applicants and potential applicants receive timely, inviting, and informative information about the school and our offerings. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to applicants’ experience of Flatiron School, and to the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate Flatiron School’s products, programs, features, and benefits to prospective students.
- Communicate energetically and warmly with a high volume of prospective students (100+ / day) over the phone, chat, video calls, email, and social.
- Respond to inbound student inquiries in real-time over web chat, email, social media, and phone.
- Meet quantitative goals across a variety of funnel metrics within your pipeline of prospects and applicants.
- Guide students from interest to application by assessing student goals and concerns.
- Innovate and iterate on processes through evaluation of current tactics, and implementation of creative prospecting strategies.
- Work cross-functionally within our organization to build a well-informed and interested pipeline and provide a seamless student experience.
- Staff admissions-related events to share information on Flatiron School with prospects and applicants.
Qualifications:
- A strategic communicator. You are practiced at active listening and communicating clearly.
- Highly organized and can manage time effectively. You know how to create a schedule and how to adapt when things deviate from the schedule.
- A fast learner who can retain a lot of information. You are excited to become an expert on all things related to Flatiron School and to share your knowledge with others.
- Data-savvy: You are able to spot patterns in student data and your day-to-day work, and to make recommendations or change your approach based on your observations.
- Metrics-driven. You are energized by quantitative goals and have experience organizing your time and your activities to achieve a metrics.
Expected Compensation:
- $50K annually
