Schedule
- Primarily work from home (must live within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL)
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Overtime opportunities during peak periods
- Training and occasional office visits for IT setup, performance reviews, or evaluations
What You’ll Do
- Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance carriers
- Verify benefits and resolve insurance-related issues for timely prescription processing
- Handle inbound and outbound calls daily with patients and colleagues
- Work across multiple systems and portals to ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent service with empathy, problem-solving, and attention to detail
What You Need
- Must reside within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting (benefits verification, medical billing, or insurance-related role)
- Proficiency with Windows applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong computer navigation and keyboarding skills
- Hardwired internet connection (25 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload minimum); WiFi/satellite not permitted
- Secure, private home workspace free of distractions
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy or healthcare benefits experience
- Prior Authorization experience
- Familiarity with insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
- Experience using Avaya-One X, Availity, Change HealthCare, or CoverMyMeds
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
