Must be able to work uninterrupted 8-hour shifts with scheduled breaks and meal periods.
Hiring priority is given to candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls as the first point of contact for billing questions, balances, and payment plans
- Review accounts, verify balances, and explain statements, adjustments, and next steps clearly
- Set up payment plans and create new charges or add charges to existing AccessOne accounts
- Troubleshoot issues, use judgment to resolve concerns, and escalate complex cases while keeping ownership of the patient experience
- Meet quality, accuracy, and service-level standards while staying empathetic and professional
- Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and financial compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to share patient insights and support improvements
- Support additional tasks/projects as assigned
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Spanish fluency (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, Windows OS, and web browsers
- Solid time management, organization, and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced call center style environment while staying accurate
- Ability to de-escalate sensitive matters with patience and empathy
- Proven ability to protect confidential information
