Schedule
- Full-time, seasonal remote position
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday (including holidays)
- Flexible 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM AST
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and faxes from pharmacies, beneficiaries, and prescribers
- Resolve coverage determinations, exceptions, and appeals efficiently and accurately
- Provide real-time assistance with benefit eligibility, payment status, and prior authorization inquiries
- Document all communications in compliance with federal and company guidelines (HIPAA/PHI)
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalations and report system or process issues
- Maintain service-level standards for response time, call resolution, and quality assurance
What You Need
- Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ year in a pharmacy, PBM, or member services call center environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace suitable for handling PHI
- U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States (Abarca does not sponsor employment visas)
Nice to Have
- Active Pharmacy Technician License
- Experience with PBM systems, Medicare Part D, or commercial health plans
