Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EST
- Flexibility required for 8-hour shifts, with occasional overtime
- 4 weeks of paid on-the-job training (aligned with your work schedule)
- 100% remote within the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and process accurate insurance claims
- Follow up on outstanding claims and accounts receivables
- Handle patient billing inquiries via phone and email
- Verify eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements
- Identify payment trends and escalate issues as needed
- Prepare and review revenue adjustments (credits, refunds, transfers)
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide AR reports and monitor payer policy updates
What You Need
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Flexibility to work full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare billing or AR collections experience
- 2+ years in the healthcare industry
- Microsoft Excel skills (filters, sorting, spreadsheets)
- 1+ years of client or third-party insurance billing experience
- 1+ years in a call center environment
