Schedule
- Remote, full-time position
- Must be available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM EST for an 8-hour shift
- Hourly pay range: $25–$31
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers via phone and email
- Rotate weekly between inbound calls and outbound/emails/ticket support
- Review forms, manage queues, and enter accurate patient data into systems
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, payments, and adjustments
- Educate clients on billing policies, procedures, and payment options
- Contact clients and insurance companies for prior authorization and claim submission
- Navigate multiple payor types including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers
- Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to improve billing processes
What You Need
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years’ experience in healthcare, lab, or billing support preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payor policies
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and billing systems (Xifin and Careviso a plus)
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to deescalate stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
- Bilingual skills are a plus
