Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (U.S.-based only)

What You’ll Do

  • Review case files, insurance policies, and claims to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Apply expertise in denial language, claim lifecycles, and CARC codes to resolve escalated issues
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, empathetic patient communication
  • Support continuous improvement by spotting opportunities to refine processes
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to streamline billing operations

What You Need

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or patient relations
  • Proficiency with EHR and billing systems (AdvancedMD preferred)
  • Strong understanding of claim processing, appeals, and recoupment
  • Critical thinking skills to evaluate complex cases and recommend solutions
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mental/behavioral health billing and collections
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Salesforce, and intermediate Excel/Google Sheets
  • 2+ years of experience working with offshore vendors

  • Salary: $60,700 – $67,800 per year (with equity; no bonus for this role)
