What You’ll Do

  • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule outpatient visits and procedures
  • Collect and verify patient information, guarantor details, and necessary authorizations
  • Register patients/customers based on scheduling guidelines and clinic requirements
  • Manage changes and notify appropriate personnel when cancellations occur
  • Respond promptly to patient and staff communication, needs, and complaints
  • Consult with referring physicians’ offices to confirm complete and accurate orders
  • Complete daily tasks and scheduling Workques in a timely manner
  • Escalate urgent issues to appropriate areas for resolution

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • State and federal background checks (as required for regulated areas)
  • Previous healthcare scheduling or administrative experience preferred
