OppFi is looking for a Chat Advocate to deliver fast, high-quality customer service through live chat. In this role, you’ll support customers with financial products and services, responding promptly to inquiries, guiding them through applications, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Schedule

What You’ll Do
- Provide real-time chat support, handling up to three customers simultaneously with fast response times (within 10–30 seconds)
- Use resources to guide customers through the Instant Bank Verification process with troubleshooting tips
- Review financial documents and research histories to support loan applications
- Collaborate with Underwriters, Loan Processors, and Customer Service representatives to expedite applications
- Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and propose improvements
- Act as a subject matter expert for Bank Verification troubleshooting
- Build customer relationships through empathetic and effective communication
What You Need
- 2+ years of customer service experience with a focus on live chat
- Ability to type 60–80 WPM with 98% accuracy (typing test required)
- Strong multitasking skills—able to manage three chats simultaneously without sacrificing quality
- Excellent written communication and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, responsive, and adaptable in a high-pressure environment
- Strong empathy and customer-first mindset
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support others
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of the financial lending industry
