Our Newest Opportunity:
The Client Advocate is responsible for assisting clients’ employees with benefit plan questions and/or help with issue resolution. The CA serves as the direct point of contact for these employees and handles incoming phone calls and emails as needed. They will work under the direction of the Account Manager and collaboratively as part of an internal team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist clients and their employees with various benefit questions which may include:
- Finding physicians
- Understanding benefit plans
- Reviewing and resolving claims
- Resolving transition of care issues
- Assistance with authorization/approval issues
- Confirming the member cost-share under their plan
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective relationship builder
- Proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to be flexible and adapt easily to change and a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to effectively manage high volumes of work
- Strong organizational skills
Education, Training and Experience:
- Previous experience working in insurance/employee benefits, preferred
- Valid Life and health license
