What You’ll Do
- Respond to client inquiries across chat, email, SMS, and phone as a professional brand ambassador
- Resolve concerns, provide repayment guidance, and offer accurate information with empathy and clarity
- Promote and cross-sell Earnest products to eligible clients during service interactions
- Assist customers with payment arrangements, relief options, and required documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client needs and educate customers on loan processes and repayment options
- Maintain professional records in client systems and ensure timely follow-ups
What You Need
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or collections
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to de-escalate and resolve issues
- Tech-savvy (Mac preferred), with comfort performing basic math for loan support
- Ability to manage high call volumes and work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
- Experience in student lending, banking, or financial aid
- Background in call centers, sales, or account management
- Familiarity with loan processing or underwriting
Pay Range
- $47,000 – $60,000 USD annually (based on qualifications, location, and experience)
