What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality client service and clear communication from intake through resolution
  • Respond to client and internal partner inquiries within expected timelines and provide status updates
  • Complete risk mitigation reporting (audits, team activity reporting, case manager reporting)
  • Manage client deliverables and planning tools to track progress and complete assigned work
  • Maintain accountability for inbound and outbound files
  • Maintain carrier and client SFTP setups and complete updates as needed
  • Review incoming data files daily and report carrier discrepancies
  • Execute client-specific processes and procedures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier partners and handle ongoing file updates/requests
  • Communicate updates to Client Services and technical partners
  • Identify root causes of systemic issues and escalate appropriately

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of employee benefits and/or benefits administration experience
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, convert to CSV, concatenation, pivot tables)
  • Comfort learning and explaining technology tools and processes
  • Experience using benefits administration systems or other HCM platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with carrier files (EDI experience is a plus)
  • Strong client-facing communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Detail-obsessed accuracy and a consistent quality mindset
  • Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure, especially during busy season

Benefits

  • Pay range: $16.50 to $25.85 per hour (up to roughly $53,000/year at 2,080 hours)
  • If benefit eligible: comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc. varies by eligibility)
