POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Client Services Specialist is primarily responsible for working with existing PAR clients providing solutions to unexpected challenges that arise while working through our software product, Data Central.
Our software is a restaurant management solution that provides functionality around cost of goods, scheduling, payroll, reporting and many other operational purposes. The ideal applicant will have a restaurant management background and working knowledge of not only a POS and/or back-office program, but also application design, database tools and relevant computer applications within the restaurant and hospitality industry. The person filling this role is responsible for working within a collaborative team atmosphere to implement additional services and features of Data Central for existing clients. Using operational knowledge of the hospitality industry, you will serve as a consultant for the client to gather requirements, configure the software, manage implementation projects, train, and deliver solutions tailored to meet the needs of their business. A successful candidate will have outstanding oral and written communication skills coupled with strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. And takes ownership of all projects in a high paced work environment without the need for micro managements seeing the clients project through completion.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- An unreasonably strong customer service heart
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 4 years’ experience in the technology industry preferred
- Previous experience in the Hospitality industry in a management role preferred
- Track record of success in Professional Services
- Ability to self-train, to stay current with the technology and security in restaurant and retail industries
- A passion for continued education (growing both technical and interpersonal skills)
- A problem solver who enjoys finding solutions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities
- Ability to cross-train to other functions as necessary
- Skill with Microsoft Office products
- Comfortable in a dynamic, agile atmosphere of a technical organization with an expanding software that is updated monthly
WHY WE NEED YOU
- Consult with clients to analyze their immediate challenge and coordinate solutions with a primary goal of customer satisfaction
- Design and test proposed solutions meanwhile completing a configuration with varying degrees of complexity
- Effectively deliver training to end-users with all levels of technical and non-technical knowledge
- Consult with third-party providers and internal team members to design and deliver software integrations and rollout solutions
- Identify opportunities to provide additional products, services, or other resources to client
- Effectively deliver training to end-users
- Act as a Level II escalation path for peer-to-peer support
- Work in a multi-channel communication environment of phone, emails, and video conferencing
- Track knowledge and time using our project, task, and time management tool
