Schedule
- Full-time, Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shift schedules during business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
- 2 weeks of paid training, onsite, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls, route inquiries, book appointments, and verify insurance coverage
- Deliver excellent customer service as the voice of The Corvallis Clinic
- Prioritize patient needs and provide efficient, timely responses
- Build positive relationships with patients while supporting providers and staff
- Use established policies and procedures to meet patient needs and resolve issues
- Communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers, escalating urgent cases promptly
- Maintain confidentiality of patient data (HIPAA compliance)
- Utilize technology and PBX platforms as directed
- Perform other assigned tasks
What You Need
- High School Diploma / GED (or equivalent)
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of high-volume customer service experience (call handling preferred)
- Ability to learn telecommunications hardware/software and multiple IT applications
- Experience with computers and Windows-based applications
- Knowledge of clerical/administrative procedures and terminology
- Ability to work full-time within 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST, with occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or call center experience
- Training or knowledge of medical/insurance terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements
Telecommuting Requirements
- Must reside within commutable distance to 500 Main Street, Philomath, OR
- Secure, dedicated home workspace separated from living areas
- Compliance with UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
- Access to approved high-speed internet service

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $16.00 – $27.69 (based on experience and location)
