Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm CST (flexible 8-hour shifts)
- Occasional overtime as needed
- 2 weeks of paid training, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm CST
- 100% remote within the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Review and prioritize open accounts receivables for medical claims
- Contact payers to resolve non-payment issues and recover amounts due
- Ensure timely follow-up on claims not paid within 45 days
- Document and manage key accounts, escalating issues when needed
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external partners
- Adhere to payer guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies
What You Need
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ year of experience in medical or pharmacy billing/collections, OR a medical billing/coding certificate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work required full-time hours with flexibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of NDC, ICD-10, and HIPAA
- Intermediate Excel skills (filters, formulas, conditional formatting)
