Schedule

  • Remote (must live in one of these states to be eligible): AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI
  • Requires: two evening shifts per week (12pm–9pm CST and 10am–7pm CST)
  • Requires: one Saturday shift every 5 weeks
  • Phone-heavy role; deadline-driven; requires consistent attendance

What You’ll Do

  • Make outbound calls to customers with past-due accounts to resolve delinquency
  • Identify delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts and take ownership of resolution efforts
  • Research account history to determine the best resolution path
  • Take payments over the phone, including credit card transactions
  • Offer hardship/relief options when applicable, following company policy
  • Use internal resources to aim for one-call resolution
  • Explain account details clearly (interest, statements, and related questions)
  • Support overflow call types as needed (disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy)
  • Handle administrative and team support tasks as assigned

What You Need

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or relevant equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, internet, email)
  • Professional phone presence + strong written and verbal communication
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills (without getting sloppy or disrespectful)
  • Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and stay accurate under deadline pressure
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to change
