Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday during business hours
- One weekend per month required
- Fully remote role
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to assist borrowers, applicants, and merchants
- Collect delinquent balances and negotiate repayment plans across varying levels of delinquency
- Review accounts, apply optimal contact strategies, and keep losses below targets
- Handle credit and chargeback disputes promptly and accurately
- Accurately document all borrower interactions and account details
- Provide solutions and recommend actions based on account assessments
- Skiptrace accounts with missing or invalid contact information
- De-escalate difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Partner with management to improve processes and borrower experiences
- Contribute to a collaborative, startup culture focused on continuous improvement
What You Need
- 1+ year of collections experience (point-of-sale lending and chargeback resolution a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills for repayment plans and account resolution
- Knowledge of collections regulations preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and task prioritization
- Proven customer service or sales experience accepted as relevant background
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings or weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 base salary
- $25,000 uncapped, on-target commission (monthly payouts)
