Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position (Nationwide, US)
  • Eastern Time shift alignment required
  • Eligible for performance-based incentive plan

Responsibilities

  • Respond to patient and client complaints related to account balances and payments
  • Research missing payments, including EOBs, checks, and insurance information
  • Resolve all escalated accounts within 24 hours
  • Investigate patient complaints and verify whether payments have been posted correctly
  • Analyze historical data to identify root causes of escalations
  • Post Accounts Payable deposits, process electronic 835s and manual payer EOBs
  • Apply appropriate denial codes, adjustments, and contractual allowances
  • Balance and close payment batches accurately and timely
  • Communicate coaching opportunities to Posting Managers when needed
  • Complete special projects and assist with daily posting duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 6 years of cash posting experience
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, EOB interpretation, and denial management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare payment systems
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately
  • Consistent QA performance (90%+ for past 90 days preferred)
