Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Remote role
- Contact center operates 24/7; schedules vary based on business needs
- Some schedules include one weekend shift
- Must be able to participate in classroom-style remote training sessions
- Must have reliable high-speed internet and hardwired connection to router/modem
- Quiet, private workspace and reliable dependent care during work hours required
- May need to travel on-site for support if located within 50 miles of an Oak Street Health location
What You’ll Do
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments through inbound and outbound calls
- Provide courteous, professional support while addressing patient questions and concerns
- Enter patient information and appointment details accurately in scheduling systems
- Communicate appointment instructions clearly so patients know exactly what to expect
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and issues quickly and calmly
- Collaborate with medical staff and internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling operations
- Place follow-up calls for confirmations and appointment reminders
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and transactions
- Support additional duties and special projects as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience (call center experience preferred)
- Strong phone demeanor, professionalism, and high integrity
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient PC skills, including basic Microsoft Excel and Google Suite familiarity
- Prior remote work experience
- EMR documentation experience preferred
- Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish language skills preferred
- U.S. work authorization
