Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Content Evaluation Specialist to join our clients’ marketing team. As Content Evaluation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in acquiring and managing user-generated content for our clients’ company’s marketing efforts. Your primary responsibilities will involve reaching out to customers, obtaining legal clearance for content, and ensuring our marketing stories are supported by compelling customer testimonials. Your work will contribute to showcasing the unique features of our products and engaging with our audience through authentic user-generated narratives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing Team: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to support their initiatives by sourcing and managing for various marketing campaigns.
- Customer Outreach and Legal Clearance: Engage with customers via email, phone, and text to request their permission through Docusign for the use of their videos in marketing materials. Ensure compliance with all necessary legal requirements.
- Content Management: Utilize the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to organize and catalog content efficiently.
- Gather Customer Testimonials: Interview customers to gather compelling backstories and experiences related to products, which will be utilized in Marketing stories.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure that all acquired content meets the standards set by internal legal counsel in terms of releases and licensing.
- Asset Fulfillment: Fulfill asset requests from creative and production teams by selecting relevant user-generated video content and narratives that align with specific project requirements.
- Project Coordination: Oversee projects from inception to completion, guiding them through the stages of production and post-production.
- Trend Identification: Keep abreast of interesting trends and themes, maintaining a record for potential use in future show segments or marketing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media studies, or film/TV production.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer outreach or booking characters for narrative-based programming such as documentary, true crime, or reality shows.
- Basic knowledge of DAM systems, data entry, cataloging, and best practices.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, staying organized in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on marketing and branded projects, either in-house, at a creative agency, production company, or a comparable creative production environment.
- A keen sense of what makes a compelling and engaging story.
- Familiarity with various digital video and multimedia genres and platforms, with experience in video and multimedia storytelling.
- Highly creative, organized, meticulous, detail-oriented, and patient in your work approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident, polite, and courteous demeanor.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Docs, and Sheets.
