Job Overview
We’re looking for a support specialist to empower VRChat’s incredible creator community to monetize their creations. You’ll need to deeply understand the technical aspects of the VRChat content creation workflow, including managing large projects with the Creator Companion, scripting APIs with Udon and C#, and more. You’ll interact directly with existing and prospective sellers by answering questions, writing documentation, and explaining implementations. You’ll also help sellers effectively market and sell their products by utilizing the tools provided to them.

You’ll work closely with the VRChat team and creator community to support creators in deploying their best content.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop best practices for building and marketing monetized content on VRChat, and communicate these practices to sellers
- Provide exceptional technical support to the VRChat seller community throughout the process of creating, testing, launching, and supporting their monetized content
- Collaborate with our internal Monetization and Creators teams to identify and address creator economy issues, providing feedback from the community about bugs and potential features to improve our products and services
- Create clear and helpful documentation for content creation workflows, best practices, and any other seller needs.
- Collaborate with the Communications team in drafting written and video content
- Grow VRChat’s community of sellers by providing an easy onboarding experience for creators interested in becoming sellers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in user-generated content creation and monetization
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with the VRChat Worlds SDK, Avatars SDK, and Udon
- 2+ years of experience building, marketing, and selling virtual content
- Experienced with VRChat content creation workflow (including external content creation tools such as Blender and formats that can be leveraged in Unity)
- Adept at communicating with creators via outreach campaigns, Discord discussions, and Canny tickets
- Experience with developer or creator support
- Strong familiarity with how external content creation platforms are used in monetization (i.e. Patreon, Twitch, YouTube, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Already imbedded with and familiar with the culture of the VRChat creator community
