Schedule
- Full-time, remote within the USA
- Must meet typing and data entry speed requirements (50 WPM, 135 KSPM on ten keys)
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Verify provider credentials through approved sources
- Process and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Maintain accurate provider data and demographics in credentialing systems
- Manage data from delegated entities
- Communicate credentialing status and documentation requirements to providers or office staff
- Identify and report non-compliance or credentialing issues
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years of provider credentialing experience for a health plan
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with NCQA, CMS, and state credentialing standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
