Schedule

  • Full-time, remote within the USA
  • Must meet typing and data entry speed requirements (50 WPM, 135 KSPM on ten keys)
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Verify provider credentials through approved sources
  • Process and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications
  • Maintain accurate provider data and demographics in credentialing systems
  • Manage data from delegated entities
  • Communicate credentialing status and documentation requirements to providers or office staff
  • Identify and report non-compliance or credentialing issues
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ years of provider credentialing experience for a health plan
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with NCQA, CMS, and state credentialing standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
