Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Hiring, leading, mentoring, and developing teams of high-performing Collection professionals.
Oversee all training and team development.
Monitor and oversee collections call center and collection queue phone system.
Drive process improvement excellence via data and root cause analysis.
Write new and update existing policies and procedures documentation.
Develop and provide customer reporting and analysis to members of the leadership team.
Negotiate and communicate with Sales regarding Credit and Collection decisions.
May recommend payment terms and credit limits for new and existing customers.
Responsible for achieving agreed-upon key performance metrics.
Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sales to bring issues, discrepancies, and
disputes to resolution in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
Administer and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls by working closely with internal Finance and Audit teams.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required. Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a large Credit & Collections environment with 8 years of demonstrated people leadership and development experience in a publicly traded company preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Corporate Credit, Collections, and financial statement analysis. Experience with forms of payments and collections instruments including Letters of Credit, Personal Guaranty, Security Agreements, and other forms of securitizations. Familiar with PCI / DSS (Payment Card Industry / Data Security Standard). In addition to the above-listed experience the following are also required:
