Customer Adoption Specialist

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a passionate Customer Adoption Specialist to join our growing team and help us deliver intuitive and delightful experiences to our customers.

As a Customer Adoption Specialist, you will work closely with our customers after their onboarding process has been completed, and be available as a technical resource on an ongoing basis to ensure that their systems are integrated successfully with our app, their commission logic has been constructed accurately, and to facilitate further learning and training of the system. We are looking for intelligent, analytical people with solid interpersonal skills for this role.

What you’ll contribute in this role

  • Work with Customer Success Managers to identify customers who require additional training and/or resources in order to fully utilize the Spiff platform and create actionable learning paths to accomplish milestone objectives.
  • Engage directly with customers in a mentorship capacity as they require help navigating the more technical aspects associated with maintaining or updating their instance. This will often involve meetings with customers where you will provide specific instructions related to their unique challenges they are working to find solutions for.
  • Build or update small components of existing clients’ commission logic. These changes generally impact a small percentage of the overall commission fields.
  • Provide consultative services to our internal Support team for highly technical customer cases.
  • Help develop internal processes focused on improving our customer’s adoption rate and improving team efficiency.

What must-have experience you’ll bring to Spiff

  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • Highly analytical thinker with an innate ability to mentally map complex systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex excel models.
  • Professional. Internally Spiff is a startup, and it is awesome. Externally, it’s important that customers see that fun, but as a Fintech startup, working with senior members of management at some of the biggest brands in the world, every interaction needs to be fast, professional, succinct, and intelligent.
  • Self Starter. We’re working on building solid materials, and resources for new hires; but as a young startup, we’re not there yet. We need people that enjoy ambiguity, and space to succeed without a lot of direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable. Since your work will represent much of the first experience a customer has with Spiff, you must be able to perform your work and manage your projects to complete them in a timely manner
  • Detail oriented – you must be able to notice small details and fit them within the larger picture.

Bonus Points!

  • Sales ops, especially familiarity with Salesforce (from an admin perspective)
  • Technical expertise (SQL/database, light coding, etc…) is a huge plus
  • Basic accounting/finance understanding
  • Interest in Startups/Tech/Finance. Our team loves the startup community, and genuine interest in the space is huge.

Compensation…

At Spiff Inc. we are committed to equal pay and opportunities. In order to provide full transparency, the salary range for this position is USD $70k – $80k per annum for all candidates based in the US. This position is eligible for equity.
