The Opportunity…
- Be the ‘Voice of GRID’ on the phone, representing our organization as you guide potential clients through our selection criteria
- Work as a team to respond to potential clients who inquire via phone, and follow up via phone, text and email with interested prospective clients
- Provide exceptional, patient, positive and professional customer service to current clients and new interested clients
- Check all potential clients against our selection criteria and clearly explain our criteria to them
- Track all leads and communication efforts in our database management system (Salesforce) with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain professional relationships with your team and regional outreach offices
What you need to bring to this role…
- MUST have minimum one year previous experience in a call center or a customer service position
- MUST have fluent/bilingual proficiency in Spanish
- MUST have stable internet connection
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills
- Ability to persuade callers, and handle problem calls with aplomb
- Ability to work with phone call software and customer relationship management system
- Demonstrate commitment to GRID’s mission and the communities we serve
- Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment with colleagues working across several GRID regional offices
- Self-driven and reliable
- Positive attitude, willing to help wherever needed to support the team with tasks great and small
*Hired CA candidates must be able to pass a screening for drugs that are illegal in the state of California, including: amphetamine, cocaine metabolite, opiates, and PCP.
It would be great if you also had…
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms PREFERRED
Where you will sit & the places you may go…
This position will be fully remote, but candidates MUST reside within CA. This position may very rarely require travel to regional offices for teambuilding activities and company-wide events. Availability to work nights and weekends may be required.
GRID Alternatives provides vehicles for work travel, and due to COVID-19 current guidelines, we may also require limited personal vehicle use. In the latter instance, GRID will provide travel reimbursement for work-related personal vehicle use in accordance with our payroll schedule. Additionally, all applicants will need a valid driver’s license and good driving record to be considered.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly pay commensurate with experience within the pay range of ($20 – $23 per hour) plus the benefits listed below.
