What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist with inquiries, scheduling, and benefits
- Provide accurate information on eligibility, coverage, billing, and claims
- Schedule, confirm, and update provider appointments
- Process referrals, authorizations, and prescription renewals
- Document interactions accurately in EMR/CRM systems
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of call center customer service experience handling high call volume
- Stable work history with consistent tenure in previous roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet and private remote workspace
- Knowledge of HIPAA/privacy compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Appointment scheduling or benefits inquiry experience
- Familiarity with EMR or CRM tools (EPIC, Facets, or similar)
- Knowledge of healthcare or insurance terminology
