- Phone-first support role with additional coverage via email and chat
What You’ll Do
- Provide frontline support for Ramp customers, primarily over the phone
- Troubleshoot issues with strong product knowledge and investigative skills
- Deliver accurate, empathetic solutions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Take ownership of escalations and drive tickets forward with internal teams
- Adapt to new tools, product releases, and AI-powered workflows quickly
- Meet and exceed performance metrics (CSAT, QA, speed-of-service)
- Contribute to documentation, feedback loops, and customer insights to improve Ramp’s platform
What You Need
- Confidence and comfort handling live phone support
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Strong customer focus with empathy under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn Ramp’s platform and apply product knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, persistence, and follow-through on escalations
- Comfort working toward measurable performance goals
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered tools and automated workflows
- Startup or high-growth environment experience
- Familiarity with Zendesk or other customer support platforms
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $48,000 – $70,000 (NYC/SF) or $48,000 – $65,000 (all other U.S. locations)
- Hourly role with equity offers available
