SUMMARY

SQUIRE is looking for a highly motivated and sales-minded Customer Product Specialist to help us grow revenue across our existing customer base. The CPS position will be responsible for closely collaborating cross-functionally to identify and qualify customers who we can upsell SQUIRE’s robust product portfolio to. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with outbound sales activities, as well as qualifying leads and working closely with the CSM team to ensure a positive customer experience.

This position is 100% remote.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become an expert in all things Barbershop and SQUIRE’s product portfolio.
  • Partner closely with the CSM and Support teams to develop profiles of current customers and their specific business model, challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure a thorough and complete understanding of current usage of SQUIRE tools and present complementary products to create deeper adoption.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities on existing customer accounts through various channels, including phone, email, and social media.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the SQUIRE platform to existing customers and educate them on how we can help solve their business challenges and create growth.
  • Leverage lead generation tools to proactively create lists of target prospect accounts.
  • Connect with SQUIRE’s active customer base through email/text/phone as a business point of contact.
  • Increase overall ARPU and retention rates of SQUIRE’s active customers by upselling to existing customer base.
  • Work with the product team to inform roadmap decisions based on customer behaviors, challenges and feature requests.
  • Work closely with the CSM team to collaborate, strategize and grow existing customer revenue (NDR) together as a team.
  • Represent and demonstrate our company values, brand, and mission.
  • Create referrals through relationship building with current customers.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in sales and/or customer service
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Experience with cold calling (up to 80 outbounds per day), prospecting, and organized follow-up processes
  • Experience managing a full pipeline in Salesforce or other CRM
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Fearless attitude willing to take intelligent risks
  • Genuine customer empathy
  • Strong organizational skills, detail and process-oriented
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Office/Google Suites, Slack, Zoom)
  • Organized and possess strong time management skills
  • Ability to be creative in finding solutions
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
  • A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
  • A sense of urgency and persistence

  • Travel requirement is 25% +/- as needed
