Replicated is the modern way to ship multi-prem software. Replicated helps software vendors quickly and easily deploy their applications to any customer using a single architecture.The Replicated platform provides all of the tools needed to operationalize and scale the distribution of Kubernetes applications into any enterprise environment. Those tools include Kubernetes-native versions of release channels, customer license management, automated troubleshooting, and a nextgen end-customer admin experience.

Customer Reliability Engineers at Replicated are rethinking how to provide and scale great support for us and our vendors. A core value proposition of the Replicated platform is to automate away the toil of enterprise deployments, and support is no exception. We want to automate away the toil of support and we think it’s possible.
As a member of this team you will interact directly with customers providing support as well as develop features, products, and processes to automate and scale support as code. You will work closely with development teams internally and externally to help classify, route, and solve support requests and issues as smoothly as possible and drive the process through automation.
This is a great opportunity for you to grow and learn a modern technology stack including Go, Javascript, Kubernetes, and Linux administration. You’ll learn about all of these with hands-on experience both developing and supporting the stack backed by experienced developers and product experts to help you along the way.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with product managers, designers, and full stack engineers from prototype to production
- Build public and internal APIs, often interfacing with core Kubernetes APIs
- Write and contribute to Kubernetes operators and CLIs
- Build web-based user interfaces for our vendor dashboards, on-premises customer dashboards, and open source tools like troubleshoot.sh
- Mentor and be mentored, based on your experience level
- Participate in a team based support and on-call rotation for our products
What you bring to the role:
- 2+ years of Go development experience
- Interest in learning a breadth of modern technologies
- Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- Passion for and well reasoned opinions on technology
- Sense of design and product
- Open source contributions (code, bug reports, community support)
- Experience with Kubernetes
