Schedule
- Full-Time (non-exempt)
- $18.00–$20.00/hour (DOE)
- Remote with online training
- Shifts scheduled between 8am–8pm ET (quarterly shift bids)
- Occasional travel to home office required (once per year)
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound interactions via phone, email, fax, SMS, and chat
- Assist with member/provider eligibility, benefits, pre-certifications, and claims
- Document and update CRM records accurately
- Provide guidance on provider networks, wellness programs, and employer-offered benefits
- Educate and counsel members/providers on plan resources
- Follow up on prior inquiries and ensure resolution of outstanding tasks
- Collaborate with claims team to ensure accurate processing
What You Need
- High School Diploma required; college a plus
- 2+ years of call center experience (healthcare preferred)
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
- Stable, reliable internet connection and a professional private workspace
