What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound calls from disaster-impacted individuals with professionalism and empathy
  • Verify and update caller information; accurately document every interaction in web-based systems
  • Navigate multiple tabs and knowledge bases to provide clear, policy-aligned guidance
  • Conduct outbound calls (e.g., surveys/follow-ups) when needed
  • Adhere to schedules, quality standards, and program protocols
  • Use performance data and feedback to improve your results

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior call center or customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and active listening skills
  • Confident computer skills; comfortable multitasking across multiple windows/tabs
  • Able to sit for extended periods and handle high-volume, time-sensitive work
  • Must pass background check, drug screen, pre-employment testing, and internet speed test
  • Able to obtain/maintain the required clearance level

Work-From-Home Requirements

  • Hardline high-speed internet (fiber/DSL/cable) that meets program speed minimums
  • Hotspots, satellite, and wireless-only internet are not permitted
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace for calls and assessments
