What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound calls from patients, guarantors, insurance companies, attorney offices, and healthcare providers
  • Process payments using online tools or payment devices
  • Ensure payment accuracy and proper account application
  • Respond to patient correspondence, emails, and voicemails
  • Manage work queues and special projects related to self-pay revenue cycle functions
  • Apply knowledge of medical billing and the revenue cycle in daily decision-making
  • Perform at a level demonstrating competency in all Customer Service Associate II duties
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal billing systems to document account activity
  • Provide clear, empathetic support while solving billing-related questions

What You Need

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience

  • 2+ years in healthcare or call center environment required
  • Proven competency in Customer Service Associate II responsibilities

Skills Required

  • Strong typing and keyboarding skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle high-volume inbound calls with professionalism
  • Solid understanding of standard medical billing processes

Skills Preferred

  • Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD coding
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle and billing practices
